Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking to have some fun, there's something for everyone at this RN Camp. Gather your squad of six and prepare to compete against other teams in a series of exhilarating challenges. But here's the catch – your team's combined age must not exceed 75, adding an extra element of strategy and excitement to the competition. Challenge yourself to perfect your aim in archery, showcase your agility on the touch rugby field, or demonstrate your coordination and teamwork in football matches. And don't forget about the evening team challenges that will put your problem-solving skills to the test while fostering camaraderie among teammates. Whether you're vying for victory or simply looking to enjoy a weekend of outdoor fun with your fellow scouts, the Scout Multi-Sport Weekend promises an unforgettable experience for all participants. So lace up your trainers, grab your sleeping bag, and get ready to unleash your inner athlete in this epic sporting extravaganza! Handy FAQs: Q: Do I need a team of 6? A: Not at all! if you're team fit within the age category and think they can achieve victory then we welcome teams of all sizes as long as they don't exceed 6 and the combined age cap. Q: Is there a minimum age requirement? A: Participants must be a minimum of either 11 for a scout team of 14.5 for an explorer team on the start date of camp. Q: What if I've never played some of the sports before? A: No problem! Our event is open to all skill levels, and our friendly leaders will provide guidance and support throughout the weekend. It's all about having fun and trying new things. Q: Will there be food available? A: We will be catered for within HMS Sultan however food isn't always the most filling. You're welcome to bring snacks for between events but we do operate a no nut policy on all RN camps. Q: What happens if it rains? A: The event will proceed rain or shine, so be sure to bring appropriate clothing for all weather conditions.
